Feeling confused and disorientated right now is so common.

So rest assured that you're not alone if you're feeling this way!

I've spoken to lots of women this week and we're all feeling similar.

Our lives and lifestyles aren't exactly the same but there's definitely a common thread and a common theme to how we're all feeling right now.

I'm using the word 'discombobulated' 😳🤩🤪

Because it describes the confusion and disorientation we feel due to all the mixed emotions of the holidays being over and the busy messy middle that comes with all the transitions back to school and in starting new things.

The heat hasn't helped for sure!!!

It makes emotions higher and sleep harder.

Which is so not what we need right now!!

There's lots we can do to Get Back on Track.

Here's how:

  • First it's important to normalise and honour how we're feeling right now

Recognise that lots of us are still in a kind of chaos post the summer holiday.

Be kind and compassionate to yourself. Give yourself another week to rest, refocus and tidy up your life.

Don't criticise yourself or burn yourself out trying to go into September all guns blazing if you've not got the energy for that yet.

Ask yourself: What do I need right now and then honour that by making it happen. You'll feel so much better for it.

Ask yourself: What self care and relaxation do I need right now?

What could I do to physically rest? Mentally rest and Emotionally rest?

Do what you need to do for you!

So that you can then approach everything you do with more energy and efficiency afterwards.

It's so worth it. I promise you!

  • Get Refocused and Re-organised

Write down everything that is in your head and collate any notes and To Do lists you have.

Order the list into a priority order by deciding what's important, what's urgent.

Do the things that will make you feel great &

be sure to be like a tree and 'let go' of anything you can ditch or delegate.

You can't do it all so what's most important to you?

What really matters?

  • Celebrate what's gone well recently and all you've already achieved

Recognising all you've done well for yourself, your family, your friends, your hobbies, at home and in work helps you feel great and gives you the hope and confidence to know you can achieve all you want to moving forwards too.

Eating well, resting, doing all the things you need to do to settle back into September all count. So give yourself a pat on the back.

I bet if you think about it you're doing great!

And with a little rest and refocus you'll be able to achieve all you want to before Christmas. Sorry to mention that word! But October half term and Christmas aren't that far away. So let's get rested, reset and refocus now!

  • Get Clear on what it is you really want to achieve before the end of the year

When I work with my clients I help them to let go of the should's and the could's so they can uncover what it is they really want to do. It's amazing to see how much more happy, excited and motivated they feel once they are clearer on 'what' to do.

If you had to choose just one or two things for you, what would it be?

Check in with yourself if they are the things that light you up!

Do you feel happy and excited to make them happen?

  • Come up with an Action Plan

It's true that even when you're clear and focused on what you do want you still can't just offer it up to the universe and hope it'll all happen. You do need to come up with a plan.

It's amazing how once you're clear on what you want and can make some space in your life to ponder on it that the How shows up for you. There is magic in that!

You can find your way of dreaming, thinking, meditating, going for a walk on it.

I love to help women to do this. So do get in touch if you need help to find clarity and the How you get to be, do or have what is important to you.

Do you still need clarity? Do you still need motivation? Or do you need more of a plan?

  • Be Guided and Supported

Getting together with other likeminded women is so powerful. It really is a great way to keep your dreams and goals alive. You get to celebrate your progress and chat through your next steps.

It's really empowering and so wonderful to share your journey with other women.
