Rest & Reflection time for Mums
Because being a Mum is a lot! We're busy juggling family, life, work and the house to do lists. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and like there's no time for us. But it's essential to make time to be supported in motherhood.
Join us in the Mama Cocoon.
Take part in relaxing and reflective practices and supportive, inspirational chats with other Mums that get what you are going through. Come as you are and feel heard, supported and understood
82% of Mums wanted to improve their Mum Mood. They recognised how not feeling their best affects their children and their partner.
(My Mum Mood Survey, March 2022 )
In the Mama Cocoon we'll spend time:
Chatting openly with each other as we understand what we're all going through
Celebrating what is going well for us and valuing the important job mothering is
Discussing the challenges & tricky situations and how to cope and also grow from them
Pausing and checking in with how we're feeling and what we need to be our best selves
Relaxing with soothing practices to help us feel calm and more at ease
Don't struggle alone
90% of mothers feel lonely after having children. 87% of mothers feel guilty.
Channel Mums, March 2018
Hello, I'm Rebecca
I didn't find motherhood easy at first.
I was so anxious to be a great Mum that I put far too much pressure on myself.
I was my own harshest critic!
And I often felt lonely on my own for hours with just my little one. I craved more nourishing, supportive chats with other likeminded Mums. The quick "Hi, how are you?" chat before baby class just wasn't enough for me.
So I'm super happy to be able to support Mums to take time out for themselves and connect with each other at the Mama Cocoon.
How it works
The Mama Cocoon is an online community of Mums
We meet up monthly on Zoom. It's a great way to create connections and bonds with a group of like minded Mums.
And a great chance to take time out to relax but also to think about your motherhood experiences so far.
There's a new relaxation exercise and a different topic or theme to guide our conversation each month.
Previous discussions have been about being kind to ourselves, adapting to the seasons, our expectations and the reality of motherhood, and more.
It's so powerful and healing to sit with other women and feel heard, understood and supported and know it's not just you that finds motherhood a lot!
You're never alone and can get advice from like minded Mums of all ages and all stages.
What to expect on the Mama Cocoon zoom calls:
Introductions to get to know each other
Discussion around your thoughts and feelings on motherhood
New coaching tool/ Relaxation exercise each month to help you feel more zen such as meditation, journaling and more. These may be from me or a guest.
One zoom call each month will be recorded and shared via email so that even if you miss a call you can still be part of the conversation and community.
What happens when I sign up to the Mama cocoon?
Once you've paid your first £15 subscription you'll receive a reminder each month to let you know what the topic for the live call will be and a further reminder with the zoom link. There's also a separate reminder 7 days before your £15 subscription comes out of your account each month.
What happens when I register for Mama Cocoon?
